Good & True Media is pleased to introduce you to our newest author, Morgan Dabney! Morgan is a mother of six children living in West Virginia with her husband, Vernon. She says that getting married young and starting her family has been the best decision she has ever made, and her experiences as a wife and a mother has shaped her in unimaginable ways.

In addition to her role as a mother, Morgan holds a degree in Biology and Chemistry from Francis Marion University. She still enjoys studying nature and how everything points back to our Creator. Morgan homeschools her children, and the whole family enjoys the special time together that it allows for. On any given day you can find Morgan and her family at church, maxing out their library cards, singing hymns around the piano, fixing up yummy treats in the kitchen, working in their garden, reading good books, playing in their backyard or foraging the woods for edible plants or other neat finds.

Throughout her journey in life and motherhood, Morgan has always held the desire to write a book. She says, “Ever since I was a little girl I have dreamed of writing a book. I would thread papers together with a needle! After becoming a mother 12 years ago, I started writing my ideas down in a notebook. My children are my greatest inspiration because they remind me of the magic of childhood, and I want to bottle it all up and hold on for the ride.”

When asked what she has learned throughout the process of writing a book, Morgan says, “That there is SO much that goes into writing a book, and I am thankful to be in such good hands to help guide me through. My hope for this book is that it would be a blessing for families, that it would encourage them to gather together, read aloud, and build character together.”
