The Christmas Gift

A Humble Gift. A Father's Sacrifice.
A Christmas Miracle.

The Christmas Gift tells the story of a poor father faced with a difficult decision on Christmas Eve. Should he give up the only present he can afford for his child, or hold tightly to the plans he has made?

A simple act of generosity becomes a powerful reminder that God will not be outdone in generosity. Christ is revealed hidden among the least, and a man's life is changed forever as he stands before the King of all Kings.

About Stephen Franklin

I am a husband and father of four living in southwest Louisiana. The Christmas Gift is my first published book. I began writing after being challenged by my parish priest. During a Sunday homily, he lamented, “People don’t bother telling stories anymore. Children need good stories!” He went on to say that it doesn’t matter if your stories are perfect, as long as they are meaningful and come from the heart.

That homily inspired me to create something beautiful for my children. I truly hope that you and your family find meaning and beauty in my stories as well.

About Norman Faucheux

I am a Catholic artist, husband, and father, creating artwork in service of the Church. I believe that art can be a visible expression of faith, awakening the undying longing for beauty that praises God and communicates heavenly realities.

About Matthew Hoffpauir

I am an artist, animator, musician, and illustrator living in Louisiana. If I were more selfish, I would make films, comics, and graphic design all day, but I’m happy as long as my work is in service of good stories, beautiful spaces, or prayer.
