Are you a Christian publisher? What kind of content do you accept?

Yes. We’re a Christian publishing company focused on serving the wider Christian community through values-based storytelling. We welcome manuscripts that are wholesome, faith-affirming, and in harmony with Catholic teaching. We do not publish books or authors that promote anti-Catholic content, explicit sexual material, LGBTQ+ ideology, pro-abortion views, or graphic violence.

Do I keep the rights to my book?

Yes. Authors retain 100% of their intellectual property rights. We act as your publishing and production partner, not the owner of your work.

What type of authors do you work with?

We primarily serve Christian writers and organizations, but we also work with anyone who shares our respect for traditional moral and family values.

What kinds of books do you publish?

We develop and print children’s books, devotionals, prayer books, spiritual reflections, biographies, catechetical works, and select fiction. Our specialty is values-based storytelling that deepens faith and strengthens families.

Will my book be copyrighted?

Good & True Media ensures that all aspects of the book's publication will conform to industry standards that properly establish and declare the inherent copyright status of the rights holder (i.e. the author/organization). Optionally, should you wish to register your book with the Library of Congress Copyright Office, you will be responsible for handling the registration process.

Pricing & Packages

How much does it cost to publish a book with you?

Our publishing packages typically begin at $5,995, with options at $7,995 and $10,995, depending on the level of creative development and custom features needed. All packages include full editorial management, design, layout, ISBN registration, and delivery of printed books.

Do you offer custom quotes?

Yes. While our core packages fit most projects, we can create custom quotes to meet our clients' needs.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All project costs are clearly outlined up front.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. All authors pay in three or four installments tied to major project milestones.

How many copies of my book are included in the publishing package?

The minimum print run is 300 units for clients who utilize our Storage, Fulfillment, and Distribution (SFD) Program. There is no maximum. Print runs under 300 units are not eligible for the SFD Program.

Production Process

How long does the publishing process take?

On average, 6–8 months from start to delivery, depending on complexity and author responsiveness. We provide clear timelines and status updates throughout.

Do you provide editing or proofreading?

Yes. All packages include professional proofreading and interior formatting. Higher-tier packages include substantive editing and content development. Additional editing can be arranged as needed.

Can I use my own illustrator or designer?

Yes, if they meet our print and design standards. We can also provide trusted illustrators who match your style and budget—especially for children’s books.

Do I get to approve the final layout and cover?

Absolutely. You’ll review and approve all proofs before printing begins.

Do you print on demand?

No. We specialize in high-quality, non–POD printing to ensure beautiful, durable books worthy of your message. This sets our work apart from typical online self-publishing services.

Printing, Fulfillment & Distribution

How are the books printed and shipped?

Our books are professionally printed with offset or digital presses in bulk quantities, packaged, and shipped directly to you or to our fulfillment center.

Do you offer storage and fulfillment?

Yes. Our Storage, Fulfillment, and Distribution (SFD) Program stores your inventory at our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Independence, KY, manages Amazon listings and customer orders under your brand, and ships orders as needed. The standard annual cost is $1 per stored unit, with a 300-unit minimum.

Will my book be available on Amazon or Good & True Media’s website?

Yes. Through our SFD program, your book can be listed on Amazon and potentially other retail channels. We can also support distribution through Good & True Media if your book aligns with certain requirements, as determined by our editorial team.

Can I order more copies later?

Yes. Reprints are available anytime at your discounted author rate. We manage the same print specs to ensure consistent quality.

Marketing & Promotion

Do you help with marketing?

No. Our expertise is making beautiful books. We can, however, introduce you to a few partners who can help you with marketing once you’re in the development stages.

Will you promote my book on your website or social media?

How much marketing is the author responsible for?

Our authors are expected to promote their books through their personal and professional networks.
