ABOUT MICHAELE CASEY
Michaele Casey is a retired youth services librarian who received her Masters of Library Sciences from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She devoted her library career to the improvement of early literacy skills, receiving in 2009 a New Jersey State Senate Resolution for Best Practices in Early Childhood Literacy. She also contributed her help and expertise in booktalks to the publication of “Women Engaged in War” in Literature for Youth: A Guide to Resources for Children and Young Adults by Hilary S. Crew. She has also written several newspaper articles for local papers.
She is a Eucharistic Minister for her parish and is the coordinator for services to the Homebound and Sick. She received recognition and an award in 2024 for her work by the Bishop from her diocese. Michaele also is a committed Eucharistic Adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. She was inspired to write a children’s book about Eucharistic Adoration. This is her first book. Michaele lives in New Jersey, is married and has two adult children and four grandchildren.
